Ok so stupid question maybe but how on earth do you bath a baby in a full leg cast?? 😂 We've been doing sponge baths but he HATES them and I feel like hes never properly clean. Cast cant get wet obviously.
Any creative solutions? Someone mentioned cling film but that sounds like a disaster...

Limbo waterproof cast cover from Amazon! It's like a rubber sleeve over the whole cast. Made bath time SO much easier. About £15 but worth every penny.
Before that we were doing sponge baths too and it was miserable for everyone 😂

Not stupid at all! We used the kitchen sink 😂 Baby sat in the sink with cast leg hanging out over the edge. Looked ridiculous but worked really well.
Also wet wipes are your friend. A good wipe down between baths keeps them fresh enough!

Cling film actually does work! 😂 We wrapped it round the cast and taped at the top. Shallow bath. It's not perfect but baby could splash a bit. The Limbo covers are better though.
top tip from our nurse - hair dryer on COOL setting to dry inside the cast top if moisture gets in. never heat though!
