Is it just me or do these babies grow RIDICULOUSLY fast?? Fitted for boots 6 weeks ago and already his toes are squished. Next appointment isn't for a month.
Do I need emergency new boots? Will too-small boots damage the correction? These things aren't cheap 😩
Also does anyone know if boots are available on NHS?

Yes definitely get new boots if they're too small! Squished toes cause sores and can affect correction. Ring your orthotics department - they can usually do emergency fitting within days.
Boots and bar should be available on NHS. We've never paid. If you're being asked to pay, push back!

Boots are 100% NHS! You should not be paying. Contact PALS if your hospital says otherwise.
We've been through 4 sizes already and never paid a penny. Orthotics orders them, you go in for fitting.
Don't wait with too-small boots - call them Monday morning!

We went through boots SO fast in the first year. 3 size changes in 6 months. Orthotist said to call any time toes looked squished rather than waiting.
All NHS funded for us (England). Ring, they order, you go in for fitting. Usually about a week turnaround.
Don't use boots that are too small - causes skin issues and baby won't tolerate the brace 💙
