Has anyone gone through TAT around age 4-7? How was recovery and return to school?

You're not overreacting. Trust your gut and ask for an earlier review if things are changing quickly.

We had a very similar experience. Keep a daily photo log of foot position - it helped us and our consultant a lot.

Sending support - the uncertainty phase is the hardest. It does get easier once you have a clear plan.
