Consultant mentioned a short recast if needed. Has anyone done this successfully without surgery?

Great question. We used NHS physio handouts plus videos from our clinic and it really helped consistency.

We had a very similar experience. Keep a daily photo log of foot position - it helped us and our consultant a lot.

You're not overreacting. Trust your gut and ask for an earlier review if things are changing quickly.
