Summer baby problems! 🌞 Our daughter is 6 weeks old and just started casting. Its boiling outside and Im struggling to find clothes that fit over the casts. Everything rides up or is too tight around them.
What did you all dress your babies in during warm weather? Any specific brands?

We used those baby leg warmers from Amazon instead of trousers - just pulled them over the cast and they stayed put really well. For the body we just used vests. Honestly babies in casts in summer is way easier than winter because you don't need to layer up!
Just make sure nothing gets pushed down inside the cast 👍

Romper suits with the poppers down the legs were a lifesaver for us. I got some from Next that were really wide fit. Also charity shops are your friend - dont buy expensive stuff they'll only wear for a week between cast changes!
Oh and muslin cloths tucked round the top of the cast to catch sweat 🤢

Primark do really cheap wide-leg baby trousers that fit over casts! Like £3 a pair. We bought about 10 pairs and just rotated.
For really hot days we just did a nappy and vest and left the cast out. Nobody cares and baby was much comfier 🌞

I know this sounds bonkers but we used a sock over the cast toe area to keep it clean outside. Otherwise it goes grey so fast!! A white cotton sock just pulled over the end 😂
For boys - dungarees with wide legs worked great for us
